Nominations Open for CDC Childhood Immunization Champion
[MMA News Now, Jan. 14, 2016] The Minnesota Department of Health is seeking nominations again for the CDC Childhood Immunization Champion Award, which recognizes individuals doing exceptional work in the area of childhood immunization. Last year, MMA member Patrick Zook, MD, won the award. Nominations are due Feb. 5.
Each of the 50 states and the District of Columbia select an Immunization Champion. Awardees will be recognized at the local and national level during National Infant Immunization Week (NIIW), April 16-23, 2016.
