Volunteer Openings Available on MMA Policy Committees and the Policy Council

January 4, 2024

Volunteer positions are available on each of the following MMA policy committees of the MMA Board of Trustees: Ethics and Medical-Legal Affairs; Equity in Access & Quality; Finance & Audit; and Public Health.

The MMA Policy Council also has several vacancies for at-large members. Policy Council members can serve two, three-year terms.

As a policy committee member, you influence the MMA’s direction, acquire new leadership skills and network with physicians and physicians-in-training who care about the same issues you do. It takes approximately eight hours a year (four evening meetings annually). Meetings are all held virtually via ZOOM.

If you are interested in serving on a policy committee or the Policy Council, or to learn more about the appointment process, please visit the MMA website
