Volunteer positions are available on each of the following MMA policy committees of the Board of Trustees: Ethics and Medical-Legal Affairs; Equity in Access & Quality; and Public Health.
The MMA Policy Council also has several vacancies for at-large members. Policy Council members can serve two, three-year terms.
As a policy committee member, you influence the MMA’s direction, acquire new leadership skills and network with physicians who care about the same issues you do. It takes about eight hours a year (four evening meetings annually). For the time being, meetings will be held virtually via ZOOM.
If you are interested in serving on one of them or to learn more about the appointment process, please email Shari Nelson.
