Registration Open for November 6 Implicit Bias Workshop

October 5, 2023

On November 6 from 5 to 7 pm, the MMA will offer a free and open to the public virtual workshop on “Understanding and Mitigating Implicit Bias in Healthcare.”

This work is part of the MMA’s initiative to advance health equity and address the health disparities that persist throughout our state.

In the two-hour interactive workshop, participants will examine implicit bias in healthcare settings, understand how it contributes to health disparities, and learn practical strategies for mitigating the effects. 2 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)™ are available.

Organizations may also book a private workshop to suit their schedule and needs.

Visit www.mnmed.org/IB for registration.

For questions or to book a private workshop, contact Haley Brickner, the MMA’s health equity coordinator.

This training is made possible by generous support from UCare.
