May 11, 2023

The Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ) Safety Program for Telemedicine is recruiting ambulatory and primary care facilities to participate in its Improving the Diagnostic Process, a free 18-month program that seeks to improve the cancer diagnostic process, specifically to improve diagnostic verification, timeliness, and communication with the patient.

This program, beginning in June, consists of educational presentations about best practices for closing the loop at critical points in the diagnostic process for breast, colorectal, and lung cancer in the telemedicine environment. Participation in this AHRQ program will provide primary care teams with technical assistance, coaching, webinars, and tools to help implement sustainable improvements in their practice. CME credits and ABIM MOC points will be offered at no charge for participants.
