Across Minnesota, physicians and care teams—both formally and informally—are leading efforts to improve clinician well-being. Some hold official wellness titles, while many are simply the “go-to” people in their clinic, department, or system when colleagues need support.
To strengthen this work, the MMA is launching a Community of Practice for Physician Well-being Leaders—a statewide network for anyone championing clinician well-being, regardless of their title. This is a space to:
Connect regularly with peers in a supportive environment.
Learn from colleagues and exchange practical strategies to reduce burnout and restore joy in practice.
Access tools, ideas, and resources to spark or strengthen well-being efforts.
Reduce isolation for informal champions doing this work on their own.
The first meeting will take placeon Tuesday, September 2, from noon to 1 p.m., via Zoom.
The Community of Practice expects to meet quarterly, but participants will help shape the meeting frequency and topics to reflect what’s most helpful.
