HealthcareCareersMN.org, an MMA initiative, continues to grow and support the healthcare career aspirations of students from across Minnesota.
The site, launched in late 2024, includes information about pathway programs and other resources that provide mentorship, training, exposure, and inspiration to students interested in healthcare careers. The goal of the MMA is to make HealthcareCareersMN.org a trusted, dynamic and go-to resource to support students interested in pursuing careers in healthcare.
The MMA is working to grow its platform to educate and empower students, families, and school counselors with:
Programs & Resources: A comprehensive set of programs and resources for students to enhance their academic journey, including mentorship programs, academic support, and extracurricular opportunities.
Career Options: Explore the site to learn more about the variety of healthcare careers available, including descriptions of various careers and their educational requirements.

On August 19, the Minnesota Supreme Court issued an opinion in favor of Fairview Health Services’ argument that Minnesota statute requires a trustee to be appointed prior to that trustee being able to bring a wrongful death action.
