Earlier this month, the MMA sponsored and attended a national conference on issues of diversity, equity, and inclusion in healthcare in Washington D.C.
The Mayo Clinic-hosted RISE for Equity: Reflect, Inspire, Strengthen and Empower, took place August 1-3, and included hundreds of healthcare professionals.

The conference covered topics such as using data and digital tools to advance belonging, systematically addressing social drivers of health, restorative justice, disparities in LGBTQ+ health, AI as an equity accelerant, and many more.
The conference included keynotes, fireside chats, and breakout sessions.
