Legislative Session Starts; MMA to Focus on 5 Major Issues

State lawmakers returned to St. Paul on February 17 for the second half of the 2025-2026 biennium.

MMA members are encouraged to vote for incoming MMA leadership during the month of August. Members will receive a ballot via email on August 1 to vote on the slate of leadership candidates. The ballot will include background information on the candidates and their statements of interest.
President-elect and Board of Trustee members will take office October 1. AMA delegates and alternate delegates take office beginning January 1, 2024.
