On June 15, the MMA’s Health Equity Community of Practice will host a meet and greet with Brooke Cunningham, MD, the recently appointed assistant commissioner for the Minnesota Department of Health’s Health Equity Bureau.
Cunningham is responsible for overseeing the Center for Health Equity, the Office of American Indian Health, the COVID-19 Health Equity Team, and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. She will provide an overview of the bureau’s current and upcoming health equity priorities and will be available for Q & A.
The Health Equity Community of Practice is a peer network dedicated to advancing health equity and addressing the significant racial and ethnic health disparities that persist throughout our state.
