Next week, the MMA will host the second session in the Conversations on Race and Equity (CORE) series, which provides a virtual space for physicians to discuss topics related to anti-racism, implicit bias, and cultural humility.
The online facilitated discussion, presented on November 9 from noon to 1 pm and November 10 from 8 to 9 am, will cover “Cultural Humility vs. Cultural Competence.” Participants will be equipped with the tools to continue these conversations and work toward making Minnesota healthcare an inclusive environment for all.
This work is part of the MMA’s broader initiatives to address structural racism as a social driver of health, and to advance health equity in Minnesota.
Visit www.mnmed.org/core for additional details and registration.
Funding for this program is provided by UCare.
