MMA Foundation Awards First MCAT® Fee Relief Grant

Kina Msuya, a pre-med student at St. Olaf College, is the MMA Foundation’s (MMAF) first MCAT® Fee Relief grant recipient.  

Msuya has also served as co-chair of the Minority Association for Pre-Medical Students (MAPS) organization and serves as a role model for balancing academics and involvement.    

The MMAF launched the MCAT Fee Relief Program as part of its Changing the Face of Medicine initiative, a multi-pronged effort to make medicine more diverse. As part of this work, the MMAF offers a limited number of grants each year to reimburse students for their out-of-pocket costs for MCAT registration.
