The Minnesota Department of Health (MDH) has released updated technical specifications for measurements reported under the Statewide Quality and Reporting Measurement System (SQRMS) in 2025.
The updates include:
A requirement that all provider submissions to Minnesota Community Measurement (MNCM) be submitted through the new Process Intelligence Performance Engine (PIPE) system rather than the old direct data submission (DDS) portal,
The continuation of optional, MDH-encouraged submissions on social risk factor data elements.
The MMA will continue to inform its members about changes to SQRMS. For more information, contact Adrian Uphoff, health policy analyst.
