Medical Innovations to Be Highlighted at Empowering Physicians Conference

June 5, 2024

Have an idea for an app, device or process that could improve how medicine is practiced in Minnesota? The MMA is looking for you.

The MMA will highlight medical innovations during the opening session of this year’s Empowering Physicians Conference, which will take place on September 27 at the American Swedish Institute in Minneapolis.

Up to three physicians or physicians-in-training will have the chance to pitch their work before their peers and receive valuable feedback.

Send a synopsis of your innovation to mma@mnmed.org by July 15. Our internal panel of physicians will evaluate each and choose the top three to feature at the conference.

The conference, which runs from 12:30 to 8 pm, will also include keynote address by social media star Dr. Glaucomflecken (aka William E. Flanary, MD), a skills-building workshop on negotiating, a physicians-in-training poster symposium, and an introduction to the next MMA president, Edwin Bogonko, MD, MBA.
