February 5, 2026

Stratis Health and the Minnesota Department of Health (MDH) Long COVID Program have released a new evidence-informed tool to support providers in educating patients about Long COVID and related conditions.

The guide summarizes findings from 12 observational studies on the use of booster vaccination as a strategy to reduce the burden of long COVID. The findings help can support conversations with patients to further encourage COVID-19 vaccination.

This resource is the latest update released this year in this series designed to support clinicians in preventing, diagnosing, and managing long COVID. Developed with input from the MDH Long COVID Guiding Council, these tools are part of Minnesota’s broader effort to equip clinicians to better serve patients navigating complex, post-COVID conditions.
