May Conference to Focus on Eliminating Healthcare Disparities

The National Medical Association (NMA) will host its Region IV (Minnesota, Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Ohio and Wisconsin) Annual Spring Conference at the JW Marriott Minneapolis Mall of America in Bloomington, from May 13 to 15.  

The theme of the conference is Beyond Prescriptions: How Black Physicians Can Use the Tools Embedded in Social Justice to Eliminate Healthcare Disparities.  

The conference, co-hosted by Minnesota Association of African American Physicians and sponsored by the MMA, is scheduled to feature Minnesota Attorney General Keith Ellison. For details and registration, visit Region IV Meeting. The event is free for students and residents.
