Today (November 20) is Give to the Max Day and what better way to contribute to the future of medicine than ensuring the profession is accessible to all qualified individuals. 

For Minnesota physicians, it is also a reminder of why the MMA Foundation exists.  Physicians created the MMA Foundation to support the profession itself—to lift up colleagues, invest in the next generation, and advance physician-championed efforts that improve health across our state.

One of the impactful ways physicians are shaping the future is through the MMA Foundation’s Changing the Face of Medicine campaign, which is dedicated to removing the barriers that keep talented students—particularly those from backgrounds underrepresented in medicine—from pursuing careers in healthcare.
