Expect to See the 2022 MMA Leadership Ballot via Email in August

MMA members are invited to vote for 2022 MMA leadership during the month of August. Members will receive a ballot via email to vote on the slate of leadership candidates. The ballot will include background information on the candidates and their statements of interest
 
President-elect and Board of Trustee members will take office October 1. AMA delegates and alternate delegates take office beginning January 1, 2023.  
 
Here is the slate:  

President-elect (voters will pick 1)

Trustee (4 seats; 1 must be from NW Trustee District) 

  • Dionne Hart, MD (incumbent) 

  • Gaurav Mehta, MBBS (from NW district)

Medical Student Trustee (1 seat) 

  • Christeebella Akpala

  • Adrina Kocharian 

  • Nick Tomhave 

AMA Delegate (2) 

  • Dave Thorson, MD (incumbent) 

  • Dennis O’Hare, MD 

 AMA Alternate Delegate (2) 

  • Ashok Patel, MD (incumbent) 

  • George Morris, MD
