Equitable Health Care Task Force Seeks Public Comment

July 10, 2025

The Minnesota Department of Health’s (MDH) Equitable Health Care Task Force is seeking public comment on its draft recommendations for improving health equity across the state.

Established by the Minnesota Legislature in 2023, the task force’s mission is to “examine inequities in how people experience healthcare based on race, religion, culture, sexual orientation, gender identity, age, and disability. It will identify strategies to ensure that people living in Minnesota receive care and coverage that is respectful and promotes optimal health outcomes.”

The task force will review all submitted feedback as it finalizes its recommendations, and a summary of public input will be included in the final report delivered to the health commissioner.
