DHS to Solicit Feedback on Rate-Setting for Medical Assistance and MinnesotaCare

February 3, 2022

The Minnesota Department of Human Services (DHS) will host a virtual session on February 10 from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. to gather stakeholder feedback on a legislatively mandated analysis of the current rate-setting methodology for all outpatient services in Medical Assistance and MinnesotaCare.

The virtual session will include a brief presentation by DHS staff, followed by time for questions and feedback. Click here to join the meeting. You can also call-in at (651)-395-7448 using the phone conference ID 239 103 291#.

The 2021 Legislature passed a requirement that DHS conduct this analysis. It is to include a look at rates for behavioral health, substance use disorder treatment, and residential substance use disorder treatment.

As part of the development of the request for proposal (RFP) for the analysis, DHS seeks feedback on deliverables from stakeholders. DHS staff is also planning to solicit written feedback but is still working on setting up an email inbox for this project.
