Beware: Scammers are Posing as Board of Medical Practice Reps

Scammers continue to harass Minnesota physicians by making phone calls that appear to be coming from the Minnesota Board of Medical Practice (BMP).  

In the phone calls, the scammers say the physician’s medical license is under investigation. They will then transfer whoever answered the call to another person to get more information. The callers appear legitimate because they have the medical professional license numbers.
