The MMA and the University of Minnesota Medical School will host a virtual Physician Forum on “Weight Loss Medications: Current Challenges and Emerging Therapies in Primary Care" on Wednesday, April 23, from noon to 1 pm.
The forum will be led by Tasma Harindhanavudhi, MD, MS, associate professor of medicine for the Division of Diabetes, Endocrinology and Metabolism at the University of Minnesota Medical School.
The objectives for the forum include:
Understand the landscape of weight-loss medications
Discuss the emerging therapies and future trends
Apply practical strategies for primary care management
