April 11 Online Forum to Focus on Dealing with Ambiguous Grief

March 14, 2024

The MMA will host its next online physician forum on Thursday, April 11 from noon to 1 pm. The title of the forum is: “Healing the Wounds of Yesterday, Dealing with Ambiguous Grief” and will be led by Corey Martin, MD.

This session will introduce participants to how ambiguous grief shows up in our work and personal lives. The forum will explore the role that judgment plays in hindering us from dealing with grief and how forgiveness allows us to unchain ourselves from fear, pain and resentment.

Natalia Dorf-Biderman, MD, will serve as moderator.

Objectives for the forum include:

  1. Understand the role that loss, longing, and feeling lost have in our feelings of grief.

  1. Identify ways in which ambiguous grief shows up in our work and personal lives.

  1. Understand the role that judgment plays in hindering us from dealing with our grief.
