Free CME Session on Opioid Prescribing Set for March 18
[MMA News Now, Jan. 14, 2016] Minnesota physicians are invited to attend a free CME session on “Clinical Challenges in Opioid Prescribing: Balancing Safety and Efficacy” from 7:45 am to 4:45 p.m. on March 18 in Brooklyn Park.
The session is being provided by the Postgraduate Institute for Medicine and the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, and held in collaboration with the Minnesota Academy of Physician Assistants - 2016 Spring Conference.
In this training, physicians will learn to identify candidates for opioid therapy, monitor their responses, recognize problematic behaviors, and more. This course has been approved for a maximum of 7.5 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)™.
