Physicians Sought for Medicaid Services Advisory Committee

The Medicaid Services Advisory Committee (MSAC) is currently looking for applicants to fill six vacancies. 

The MSAC is an advisory committee, created to advise the state’s Medicaid agency about health and medical care services. The committee meets quarterly and consists of 15 Department of Human Services-appointed individuals who fill seats within three categories. The appointments will run from September 1, 2022, through January 3, 2027, with the first meeting on November 8 from 12:30 to 2:30 pm.  

MSAC is seeking applicants for the following: 

  • Medicaid beneficiary or caregiver of Medicaid beneficiary (1 seat open) 

  • Physician or healthcare provider (2 seats open) 

  • Non-profit, consumer or human services organization (3 seats open) 

Interested individuals can submit their applications (including resume and cover letter) to the Secretary of State’s Boards & Commissions webpage by clicking on open positions, and typing “Medicaid Services Advisory Committee" into the board/commission search box.
