MMA Pivots to Switch Annual Conference to a Virtual Event

September 15, 2022

Due to several factors, the MMA is switching its annual conference to a virtual event via Zoom. The conference will still take place from 12:45 to 4:30 pm on Friday, September 23.

The decision was based on feedback received from members from across the state. Some members remain concerned about attending in-person events, and others are looking for remote options for conferences. In addition, several other conflicting healthcare meetings are being held the day of the MMA’s conference.

“We were looking forward to hosting our members and our excellent speakers in person, once again – but the circumstances have pulled us in a different direction,” said MMA President Randy Rice, MD. “This decision was not an easy one to make. We hope physicians and physicians-in-training from across Minnesota can still join us for the great content we have planned.”

Registration for the virtual event has been discounted to $35 for members ($45 for nonmembers, $30 for retirees and free for physicians-in-training).
