Free Implicit Bias Training Available for Healthcare Organizations

The MMA is now offering workshops for healthcare organizations to make implicit bias training available to their physicians and healthcare providers. This work is part of the MMA’s initiative to advance health equity and address the health disparities that persist throughout Minnesota.  

In the two-hour interactive workshop, participants will examine implicit bias in healthcare settings, understand how it contributes to health disparities, and learn practical strategies for mitigating the effects. 2 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)™ are available.   

The workshop can be booked to suit your organization’s schedule and participants will be limited to those within your organization. For more information and to book a workshop, please contact Haley Brickner, health equity coordinator.
