Free Perinatal Education ECHO Series Now Available

The Minnesota Perinatal Quality Collaborative (MNPQC) is offering a free, virtual ECHO series on perinatal education.

The MMA and the Minnesota Department of Health (MDH) will present a virtual forum on “Rising Congenital Syphilis in Minnesota: A Special Briefing for Health Care Providers” from noon to 1 pm on February 2, as part of the MMA’s Physician Forums series.
The forum will cover updated syphilis screening recommendations in pregnancy, syphilis screening in non-traditional settings, syphilis in infants/children, known disparities, and implications for Greater Minnesota.
Forum speakers include:
Ruth Lynfield, MD, state epidemiologist with the Minnesota Department of Health
Stephen Contag, MD, associate professor, Maternal Fetal Medicine, Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Women's Health at the University of Minnesota
Alice Lehman, MD, CTropMed, Adult and Pediatrics Infectious Diseases Fellow at the University of Minnesota, LEAP Fellow 2023-2024
