Physicians Sought to Serve on Health Services Advisory Council

Multiple vacancies are available to physicians who want to serve on the state’s Health Services Advisory Council (HSAC).

The HSAC is a 13-member council, made up of physicians, other healthcare providers, and a consumer representative, that provides leadership in designing healthcare benefit and coverage policies for Minnesota’s public healthcare programs. HSAC is particularly focused on evidence-based coverage policy, in which decisions regarding healthcare services paid for by public programs are made using the best available research on their effectiveness.
The Minnesota Department of Human Services (DHS), which oversees the HSAC, is committed to ensuring culturally responsive services. DHS strongly encourages individuals from diverse cultural and ethnic communities in Minnesota to apply.

To apply, please visit the Minnesota Secretary of State’s website.
