Vaccine Preventable Illness
Increasing vaccination rates for common and preventable illnesses such as influenza, pertussis, and measles is an important piece of the MMA’s work to make Minnesota the healthiest state in the nation. The MMA is committed to providing physicians information and resources to help them fight these infectious diseases.
The MMA works with the Minnesota Department of Health during the flu outbreaks and supports the FluSafe Program, a Minnesota-based program to boost influenza vaccination rates among health care workers.
