Governor Proclaims January 2019 as Health Equity Month in Minnesota

For the second year in a row, Gov. Mark Dayton has proclaimed January as Health Equity Month in Minnesota. As part of the month, the Minnesota Medical Association (MMA), the Minnesota Academy of Family Physicians (MAFP) and the Minnesota Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics (MNAAP) are planning Facebook Live events that will address the topic and champion efforts to level the health care playing field for all Minnesotans.
