About the Clinic:  The Project Care Free Clinics of the Iron Range share a mission to provide outpatient healthcare access and outreach to people who are uninsured while networking with other community-based organizations to facilitate continued treatment, screenings and education.

Services Offered: The Project Care Free Clinics offer non-emergent medical care; labs and diagnostics; medication assistance; child and adult immunizations; sports physicals; behavioral health; diabetic education; chiropractic services; and physical, occupational and speech therapy; specialty referrals; and education and prevention programs. (Immunizations, sports physicals, and specialty visits require an appointment.)

Physician specialties needed: General Practice, as well as PAs, NPs and RNs

Non-clinical physician role(s) needed: PAs, NPs, RNs

Time commitment:  Two to three hours every other month

Locations:  Grand Rapids (Tues), Hibbing (Mon and Thurs) and Virginia (Wed)

Hours: 5:30 pm – 7:30 pm

Professional liability insurance: Overseeing clinic provides coverage or ASU State Volunteer Provider Insurance

Medical Records: By hand old-fashioned SOAP notes
