Physician Volunteerism Program Expands Again

The MMA Foundation’s Physician Volunteerism Program (PVP) has expanded again to include 14 safety net clinics with multiple sites across Minnesota. Already, more than 450 physicians are involved in the project and have volunteered thousands of hours to help clinics expand access to care for underserved and uninsured people.

The Physician Volunteerism Program is a free resource that helps physicians find volunteer opportunities at Minnesota’s safety net clinics and other organizations.

For additional information, visit the PVP webpage.  If you have other questions, or to receive regular email updates on PVP, send an email or call the MMAF offices at 612-362-3742.

The Physician Volunteerism Program is made possible through generous grants from the Otto Bremer Trust, The Saint Paul Foundation, the F. R. Bigelow Foundation, the Hardenbergh Foundation, and contributions from physicians like you.   Your help improves access to care for underserved communities and increases medical staff resources at safety net clinics. Thank you.
