  • Innovations in Medicine
    • Innovations in medicine have the potential to change medicine – from how we diagnose diseases, to how we treat those same diseases.  In this session, you will hear from the CEO and founder of Q-rounds – a virtual queue that sends real-time notifications of when to arrive for rounds – an innovation that is “taking the waiting around, out of rounds.” The session will also include other innovators who will share what they are doing to improve (and maybe even change) the practice of medicine.

2:45 to 4:15 pm

  • Negotiation Nexus: Mastering Healthcare Employment Contracts
    • Learn the art and science of building winning employment negotiation strategies.  This session is designed to equip health care professionals with the knowledge and skills necessary to effectively negotiate employment contracts.  Health care professionals often face complex employment agreements that can significantly impact their professional and personal lives.  This session will provide a comprehensive understanding of the key elements of employment contracts, the planning process, negotiation strategies, and the importance of aligning contract terms with personal and professional goals. 
      • As you gain powerful and practical negotiation tactics, you’ll have the opportunity to practice these skills in an experiential exercise. Participants will leave the program with a firm understanding of the theory behind employment negotiations and the confidence to use different negotiation strategies and tactics to maximize the value achieved in their next employment agreement.

He strives to change how healthcare workers see themselves, their patients, and their families and to remind them of the importance of compassionate care. He hopes to make healthcare a little more human.
