"Effectively Approaching and Resolving Conflict: A Necessary Skill in Today’s Healthcare Environment "
Led by Martin Stillman, MD, JD
In this workshop, participants will learn conflict resolution techniques through didactic instruction and interactive skills practice from a practicing academic physician-attorney-mediator with extensive experience and training in the art and science of conflict resolution and mediation within healthcare. Specifically, participants will learn pre-planning steps to take prior to meetings where conflict resolution will be addressed, how to identify common interests behind competing positions in order to generate solutions that work for everyone, and how to put specific follow-up plans in place that give the best chance for post-resolution success.
