MINNEAPOLIS, November 14, 2008—The eHealth Initiative is sponsoring a web seminar, "Clinicians: Bringing Electronic Prescribing into the Practice," to be held November 19, from 4:30 p.m. to 7 pm.

Supplementing the seminar "A Clinician's Guide to Electronic Prescribing," the November 19th webinar promises to provide "in-the-trenches," real-world insights from three early physician adopters of e-prescribing.

These physician champions can explain what you need to do to bring e-prescribing into your practice, and how to sidestep the many pitfalls and challenges that stand in your way. The goal of this webinar is to help make your transition to e-prescribing as painless and trouble free as possible.

The webinar will also provide a brief overview of the new Medicare e-prescribing regulations and physician payment incentives which go into effect January 1, 2009.
