Health Department Creates Flu Exchange Forum

Date: 31-01-2013
[MMA News Now, Jan. 31, 2013] The Minnesota Department of Health (MDH) has started the Influenza Vaccine Exchange Forum to help health care providers who have exhausted their supply find additional vaccine.

MDH is not facilitating the exchange of vaccine but simply providing the channel so that health care providers can find it. The forum is only for privately-purchased influenza vaccine supply.

The forum is accessible by all and therefore is public. MDH advises participants to make connections and discuss details via phone or email. MDH will remove any inappropriate content.

For those interested in receiving more influenza vaccine for Minnesota Vaccines for Children Program-eligible children, please call the MnVFC program at 651-201-5522.
