Discount Available for Members to Attend MMGMA Conference

[MMA News Now, Jan. 24, 2013] The Minnesota Medical Group Management Association (MMGMA) is offering MMA members the opportunity to attend the MMGMA winter 2013 conference scheduled for March 5 and 6 at the St. Paul River Centre for about half the registration price.
MMA members qualify for the MMGMA member conference rate of $275 (on or before Feb. 1 or $325 afterward), vs. the nonmember rate of $500 (on or before Feb. 1 or $550 afterward). MMGMA membership and conferences are a great way for physicians and their practice to keep up with the changing business side of medicine during this period of health reform and rapid change.
“We’d also encourage physicians to suggest to their practice administrator or manager that he or she join the MMGMA at the annual level of $135 and take advantage of attending the Winter MMGMA Conference at the membership rate,” said Steve Gerberding, MMGMA membership chair.
With more than 600 members from across the state of Minnesota, the MMGMA provides timely answers to medical practice questions including Revenue Cycle Management, Health Care Reform, Quality Initiatives, Peer Grouping, EHR adoption, Medicare Meaningful Use Payment, Total Cost of Care Contracting and ACOs.
