MMA Member Publishes New Book

[MMA News Now, Oct. 4, 2012] University of Minnesota physician and MMA member Therese Zink, M.D., has published a new book called: “Confessions of a Sin Eater: A Doctor’s Reflections.”









Therese Zink, M.D.'s new book is now available on Amazon.com.

According to the U of M’s website: “the book explores the burden, mystery, and privilege of doctoring through a collection of stories from Zink’s own 20-plus-year career.”

The book includes stories on her caring for patients in a domestic violence shelter, on a Navajo reservation, in Russia as part of the Doctors Without Borders project, on mission trips in Latin America, and in her clinic in rural Minnesota.

Zink is also author of “Becoming a Doctor: Reflections by Minnesota Medical Students,” which is provided to all first-year medical students in Minnesota by the MMA Foundation.
