[MMA News Now, July 26, 2012] A 10-minute video overview is now available online for members who were unable to attend the MMA and Minnesota Hospital Association’s panel discussion, “The Supreme Court’s Ruling: What it means for Minnesota physicians and hospitals” on July 18.

Visitors can also watch the entire 2.5-hour-long event, which is divided into eight segments.

More than 160 physicians and hospital administrators attended the event, which included panelists: Edward Ehlinger, M.D., Commissioner, Minnesota Department of Health; Lucinda Jesson, J.D., Commissioner, Minnesota Department of Human Services; Manny Munson-Regala, J.D., Deputy Exchange Director, Minnesota Department of Commerce; Nicholas Meyer, M.D., St. Croix Orthopaedics; Robert Nesse, M.D., Mayo Clinic Health System; and Stephen Pribyl, FACHE, District One Hospital

Former Sen. Dave Durenberger moderated the event, which covered a range of ACA topics including the state’s health insurance exchange effort, affordable care and Medicaid expansion.
