[MMA News Now, July 3, 2012] The MEDPAC board of directors has added W. Alice Hulbert, M.D., a retired anesthesiologist from Edina who has been active in past MMA-led efforts related to clean indoor air and the Freedom to Breathe Act, as well as a frequent visitor to the Capitol to lobby legislators on health-care issues. MEDPAC is MMA's political action committee.

Dr. Hulbert joins three others who recently joined the board. They include: Eric Crabtree, M.D., George Schoephoerster, M.D., and medical student Dan Carroll.

The MEDPAC board works with MMA staff to provide targeted support and resources to pro-medicine candidates for state office.
