Top Stories | January 2, 2009 As a first step toward resolving the state's budget deficit, Gov. Pawlenty proposed a plan Dec. 19 that would cut health program spending by $73 million. Health care reform is taking shape in the state as work groups and organizations under contract with the state flesh out the requirements for the 2008 Health Care Reform Act.
