MINNEAPOLIS, August 27, 2008—The Minnesota Department of Health has launched a website to help health professionals, providers and consumers learn more about the new electronic prescribing legislation passed during the 2008 session.

The site will include information on 2011 e-prescribing requirement, the e-prescribing standards requirement, a fact sheet, a guide on standards recommended for use in Minnesota and more.

The Web site will also include information on the e-Prescribing workgroup that will be launched by the Initiative. The workgroup will begin meeting this fall; this site will provide members easy access to meeting dates, agendas and working documents.
