Minnesota e-Health Summit, June 26
MINNEAPOLIS, April 21, 2008—Registration is open for the 2008 Minnesota e-Health Summit on June 26th, as well as the Pre-Summit on "Demystifying EHR Planning & Selection Workshop" on June 25th.
The keynote address is titled "Making the Connection: Health Information Technology and Quality Health Care." It will be given by Carolyn M. Clancy, M.D., Director of the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ).
Successes and lessons learned from projects in Minnesota and elsewhere will also be shared during the eight breakout sessions focusing on electronic health records, population health, health information exchange, getting the board on board, preparing the workforce, and privacy and confidentiality.
