Coding and billing reimbursement seminar, May 5-6

MINNEAPOLIS, March 19, 2008—The 3rd Annual Coding & Billing Reimbursement Seminar will be held May 5-6 at Grand Hinckley Casino in Hinckley.

The program is co-sponsored by the the MMA and Partners Healthcare, LLC.

The seminar will cover coding, and also such issues as the impact of RVU-based physician compensation plans, the coder’s legal risks, the effects of payer uniformity standards, and how coders can quickly teach physicians.

Participants will be able to:

  • Improve coding and documentation skills;
  • Understand Medicare rules for ABNs, modifiers and consultations
  • Increase collection rates through process improvements
  • Educate providers on E&M coding
  • Understand Minnesota payer uniformity efforts.
