Physician Feedback Sought for Quality Initiatives

[MMA News Now, April 24, 2014] The Minnesota Department of Health (MDH) and Minnesota Community Measurement (MNCM) are looking for feedback on the 2015 quality initiatives and want you to know about upcoming activities.

SQRMS Recommendations
MDH is accepting comments through June 1 on the 2015 Statewide Quality Measurement & Reporting System (SQRMS) recommendations. The comments can include recommendations on the addition, removal or modification of standardized quality measures. Information on how to submit a comment can be found on the MDH website.

Patient Experience Survey
If your clinic is going to participate in MNCM’s Patient Experience survey, you can now begin the required pre-survey validation process. The pre-survey validation confirms a clinic’s participation in the survey. Once the clinic has validated participation the survey vendor has to complete a registration. Clinics need to leave enough time to have everything complete and submitted via the MNCM portal by July 16. To view the MNCM planning calendar click here.

HIT Survey
Results from the Health Information Technology survey, which took place Feb. 15 through March 15, are now open for viewing. Beginning today (April 24), MNCM will send notices to randomly selected clinics for an audit of their HIT responses. If you have questions about your survey or audit, contact MNCM support
