Physicians who join the MMA also join their local component medical society, which provides additional resources and opportunities at the local level. Because of this dual membership, MMA and component medical society dues are billed together and the amount varies according to geographic location. MMA yearly dues categories, rates, and discounts are listed below.

Dues are based on a calendar year and may be eligible for proration. Dues reductions and waivers may be available for physicians who are in military service, taking leave, not practicing full time, working in a public sector, taking family or dependent care leave or who are in difficult or unique circumstances. Ask for a Dues Reduction Form.

Groups of five or more physicians are eligible to receive the following discounts:

Local Component Medical Society Dues
Local component medical society (CMS) dues vary by society and range from no cost to $270 a year. CMS dues are added to the MMA dues listed above.
