Physicians who join the MMA also join their local component medical society, which provides additional resources and opportunities at the local level. Because of unified membership, the MMA and local component medical society dues are billed together and the amount varies according to geographic location.

* Reduced dues may be available for physicians who are not practicing full time, who are working in a public sector, who are taking family or dependent care leave, or who are in difficult circumstances. A Dues Reduction Form must be completed to qualify for these membership categories. ^ Retired physicians who have been MMA members receive complementary membership in the MMA. They receive all member benefits except for MMA publications, which are available by subscription.
