[MMA News Now, May 31, 2012] The MMA is currently accepting names of those who would like to be considered for a two-year term as an alternate delegate to the AMA beginning January 2013. 

The MMA is allotted five delegates and five alternatives who represent the MMA at the AMA annual meeting in June and interim meeting in November. In addition, AMA delegates and alternates attend MMA board meetings six times a year and the North Central Medical Conference in March.

Those interested should submit their name to the MMA Nominating and Leadership Committee by emailing Shari Nelson on or before June 15. Delegates and alternate delegates must be MMA and AMA members.
