St. Croix Valley Physician to Host Health Care Forum
Date: 14-06-2012
[MMA News Now, June 14, 2012] When a call went out encouraging physicians to attend health care community conversations this summer, MMA member Nicholas Meyer, M.D. of St. Croix Orthopaedics stepped up and offered to host a forum at his Oak Park Heights office on June 18.
The St. Croix Valley meeting is just one of nearly two dozen “Citizen Solutions” public forums being held this summer to discuss health care reform throughout the state. The meetings are organized by the Governor’s Health Care Reform Task Force, the Citizens League and the Bush Foundation.
“This is an excellent forum for physicians to get involved and speak out as to what they feel health care is and should be about,” said Janet Silversmith, MMA director of health policy.
The Citizen Solutions website lists community conversation dates, times, locations and more.
